Australis College offers the CHC53415 Diploma of Leisure and Health as a part of their Community Services and Counselling Faculty. Those interested in pursuing a career in leisure and health can start at a diploma level as there are no pre requisites, and if you are currently working in the industry you can also apply for recognition of prior learning/experience (RPL) considerations towards this qualification. The diploma of Leisure and Health is offered nationally through flexible learning methods with weekly intakes available. The course is structured to include units which will assist in working with clients of various ages, have mental health concerns, disabilities or who are forced migrants. Our trainers are industry experienced and understand the challenge of combining work with study and provide afterhours support for our students.
