Sadly, this month we have had no submissions from our members for the members articles please consider supporting your network locally and beyond by sharing program ideas, activities, outings, photos, recipes, craft the list goes on we really would love to hear what you are up to. We are now heading into the middle month of winter so I am hoping that you are rugged up and keeping your clients warm but busy as well. There are plenty of activities and bus outing ideas that can be done in this weather and if your clients cannot leave their facilities there is always the magical enjoyment of some armchair travel so pop into your local travel agent for their discontinued brochures and posters to create a great visual setting. Team it up with activities and games from that country and even some food and you have a entire day planned.

This month has been extremely quiet at newsletter central I urge any members that are planning on submitting newsletter articles for PD points to get them to the office by June 20th to make it count before the end of the month. Also, members please remember the content of newsletters can only be as good as what our overall membership makes it so please consider submitting other articles not just for PD such as crafts, outing ideas, app suggestions, book reviews, program ideas, recipes and of course pictures we love to see your faces out in print and media.

As you all wind up your busy Diversional Therapy programs the final edition of the DTA Newsletter has arrived. This month contains a lot of reports from AGM, our usual monthly reports, the start to introducing our new board members, proposed workshop calendar for 2017 and a few extra important pieces of information so please take time to read through.

We would love to see in the January or February edition some of your Christmas and summer activity ideas, programs and photos so please send them in via the office.

If you are not aware end of September beginning of October is the second most busiest time for the DTA Office for the year the first is always renewals, then conference followed by AGM that’s not to say they are not busy any given month as we always have our workshops to deal with along with all the other wheel turning activities the staff complete to keep us moving along. So if you cannot get through leave an email or phone message and be patient they will get back to you.

The Board will now be preparing for the upcoming AGM along with the office and also recovering from post conference fatigue along with the conference committee that put in a huge effort every year to make sure members and non members have a great educational and
