DTA National Education Coordinator Report

DTA workshops are a means of gaining diverse information regarding many different aspects of our profession -from the always needed new idea for crafts, celebrations and activities in general to the more specific developments that can affect funding, accreditation and professional practices. A few times a year we run a workshop to specifically address an area of Diversional Therapy practice and innovations. The purpose of the Cherry Viewing as a DT program is to feel spring by using the multi senses.
So we lie down on the lawn with the resident and feel the warmth of the ground through our body directly.
All of the residents looked so happy, they were more active and positive than usual.
