Janine Warne

Janine Warne is the Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator at Woodlands Lodge UPA Hunter. Janine has worked in Leisure and Lifestyle for 34 years in a variety of Aged Care Facilities both large and small. Janine has also spent 6 years of that time specialising working with adults with an intellectual disability. During her career Janine has been a trainer and assessor for Recreational Activities Officer accredited course at Ourimbah College. Qualifications include Cert IV Frontline, Management, Cert IV Training and Assessment, Cert IV Disabilities, Cert III Community Services, MOOC Understanding Dementia, WH Accredited and Montessori Ageing Support Services.

Janine has presented at the DRTA conferences and was the winner of a first time presenter Award in 2015 and the National Award of Excellence in 2018. Janine continues to strive for excellence in program delivery to all residents in a care environment with emphasise on engagement through creative expression using all sensors, also challenging mind, body and spirit for a fulfilling lifestyle.
